From the time Petri Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Drain Cleaning opened its doors on Bay Ridge Avenue in Brooklyn in 1906, we have prided ourselves on our service to the community.

While our name has changed a few times over the decades, we have remained synonymous with the kind of residential service and repair that keeps our clients coming back.

And that’s not always easy in the country’s third-largest city.

Your Brooklyn plumbing experts at Petri Plumbing & Heating started just after the turn of the last century, when our current Petri President Michael Petri’s great-grandfather and great-great uncle opened the doors as Brancale and D’Amico Plumbing. We even have some of the same customers.

But we have changed with the times to offer highly trained service experts and helpful customer service protocols.

Old-World Service and New Tech

Petri’s founders set a high standard for our family-owned business’s subsequent owners to provide our neighbors with the best quality available.

More than a century of experience has given us the knowledge we need to understand Brooklyn’s unique and historic homes. We work hard to implement new technology to properly service old-world equipment.

We may have computerized dispatch boards, carry tablets and use digital devices to help us diagnose issues, but we’ll still ask if you’d like us to bring you a newspaper or cup of coffee.

During the COVID-19 shutdowns, our techs would even deliver food and check in on shut-ins.

So, while we have kept up with the latest technology, we know that it’s important to keep the character that embodies many of Brooklyn’s historic homes. We train our service experts to respect the Brooklyn Brownstone and to keep its complexities in mind when making repairs.
